Miguel Inzunza - Nocturnos (2026) [Hi-Res]

Nocturnos is the ninth studio work by Mexican singer-songwriter, poet and producer Miguel Inzunza, a native of Ahome, Sinaloa, and one of the most prominent independent voices in Ibero-American canción de autor — twice nominated for the Latin Grammy in the categories of producer and recording engineer. The album is released as a two-volume conceptual diptych: Vol. 1 — Noche de Ciudad (December 2025) and Vol. 2 — Noche de Mar (March 2026), each volume shaped by the contrasting imagery of the urban and the maritime night.
Described as one of Inzunza's most innovative productions to date, the project weaves together jazz, soul and folk while bringing in a cast of notable collaborators: singer Leonel García on the title track, guitarist El David Aguilar on "Diminuendo," and Andalusian cantautor Javier Ruibal on "A Cuentagotas." Inzunza's signature sound — a blend of acoustic instruments, electronic timbres and loops held together by songwriting as the primary narrative thread — reaches full maturity here, balancing emotional immediacy with a sophisticated musical palette.
Lyrically, Nocturnos circles around nocturnal memory, lost connections and urban solitude, themes that flow directly from Inzunza's published poetry into his music. The double-volume format allows the artist to unfold this inner world at full length: the restless, city-lit atmosphere of the first volume gives way to the more contemplative, oceanic space of the second.
