The second album by the Sol Monk trio, "Sands Don’t Sleep," demonstrates an evolution of their collective sound, integrating elements of acid jazz, Afrobeat, and house. Featuring guitarist Tamuz Dekel and bassist Dor Samoha, the six-track recording is enhanced by producer Rejoicer’s psychedelic influence. The record represents a more expansive and refined progression from the group’s previous release, "New Moves."
