Joseph Bologne de Saint-George, a tireless adventurer and versatile spirit, is revisited here through a unique portrait that reveals the many facets of his talent. Born in Guadeloupe, this polymath combined the art of music-making with the art of warfare: he was an excellent fencer, military advisor and violin virtuoso, and even tutored Marie Antoinette.
