Towa Bird - Gentleman (2026) [Hi-Res]

Towa Bird has announced her second studio album, Gentleman, due May 15, 2026. The project reframes the word itself — splitting it into "gentle" and "man" — as a reflection of the queer Filipina-British artist's gender identity and self-expression. Lead single "Dirty Habit," co-written with girlfriend Reneé Rapp and co-produced by Patrick Wimberly, is a biting critique of wealth and status culture in Los Angeles, with a music video shot in Paris drawing on Scorsese's After Hours. The album also features a collaboration with riot grrrl icon Kathleen Hanna (Bikini Kill / Le Tigre). Bird attributes her heightened confidence to extensive touring as support act for Billie Eilish throughout 2023–2024.
