Fairouz - Wahdon (1979)

A reissue of the 1978 album "Wahdon" by the legendary Lebanese singer Fairuz. The album was recorded simultaneously with work on "Abu Ali" by Ziad Rahbani, the singer's 22-year-old son. It was he who took on the roles of producer, composer, and musical director for this release, which became their first collaborative full-length work. The album combines traditional Middle Eastern motifs with a contemporary sound for its time and includes the iconic dance track "Al Bostah."
