Gabriel Grossi, Laurent Coulondre - Hermeto Universal (2026) [Hi-Res]

Brazilian harmonica virtuoso Gabriel Grossi and French jazz pianist Laurent Coulondre have launched a collaborative album titled Hermeto Universal to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the legendary composer Hermeto Pascoal. The tracklist features reimagined interpretations of Pascoal's iconic compositions, such as "Bebê" and "O Ovo," alongside original tribute pieces composed by the duo. Architecturally, the record establishes a dynamic dialogue between traditional Brazilian rhythms and contemporary European jazz. Combining high-level instrumental virtuosity with intricate improvisation, the project is backed by an international promotional tour.
