ÆKO - Veyls (2026)

ÆKO makes his first appearance on Backhaus with a eight-track album blending ambient, experimental, and techno. The intro track "Veyls" sets the stage for what's to come: deep atmosphere meets finely crafted sounds. "Velar" keeps this atmosphere while adding precise, yet playful, rhythmic layers and building tension. With "Winds I/O", "13C I", and "Axial", the three techno excursions are predestined for special moments on the dancefloor—blending chords, noise, textures, and percussion into a world of their own. The track "Artefacts" further inspires one's journey into this world with an almost hypnotising repeating melody accompanied by mesmerising synth hits and warm bass. "fluid +" is a a showcase of ÆKO's incredible sound design capabilities—a morphing loop and brain massage. Finally, "Tides" completes the album: a breaky beat saturated to perfection, wrapped in warm pads and melodic bass—topped off with vocal chops leaving one full of excitement for what's next.
