The 2nd Coming - Evaluations (1969)

The release of the archival album "Evaluations" by The 2nd Coming bridges a historical gap between late 1960s heavy psychedelic rock and the birth of American Southern rock. Emerging from the Florida music scene through close ties with the future founders of The Allman Brothers Band, the group blended raw blues, psychedelia, and extensive jamming. Recorded in April 1969, the LP was shelved due to financial difficulties, leading to the band's dissolution, after which its members (including Larry Reinhardt and Reese Wynans) achieved distinguished careers in other prominent projects. The master tapes were rediscovered in a storage archive in the late 1990s, fully restored, and are now officially released for the first time by Guerssen Records.
