"Adagio Paradiso" is a renowned collection of romantic film themes performed by renowned American conductor and composer Henry Mancini, his orchestra, The Mancini Pops Orchestra, and guest musicians.
The album was originally released in 1996 (reissued by Sony Classical in 2002). The album's centerpiece is the title track, "Cinema Paradiso Theme," recorded by Mancini with pianist Ronnie Price and The Ambrosian Singers. It is a magnificent orchestral arrangement of Ennio Morricone's iconic theme to the Italian film of the same name, "Cinema Paradiso."
