Philadelphia singer-songwriter Greg Mendez has announced his highly anticipated new album, Beauty Land, releasing on May 29th via Dead Oceans, alongside a major North American tour. The announcement comes with the lead single "I Wanna Feel Pretty" and its accompanying 35mm music video directed by Rhys Scarabosio, capturing the loneliness and commercial illusions of suburban America. Recorded directly to tape in Mendez's windowless home studio, Beauty Land serves as the follow-up to his 2023 self-titled breakthrough. The album showcases a quiet, sharp clarity while navigating heavy themes of grief, love, and addiction through Mendez’s signature wry, self-effacing, and deeply human folk-pop melodies.
