"OK, But Why?" is a progressive rock/fusion album by American guitarist, composer, and founder of the Make Weird Music platform Anthony Garone, released on June 1, 2026, via MoonJune Records. This is his first full-length release in 19 years (since his debut album, Within, in 2007).
The album combines Garone's best work over the past two decades, completely re-recorded with modern production quality. The tracklist consists of 14 compositions, including 11 originals (including the singles "Three Legged Dog," "Pune," and "Deathtrap").
The album is primarily instrumental, but three tracks (starting with the seventh track, "My Garden") feature vocals. The work has received high praise from iconic guitarists, including Steve Vai, who called the album "exquisite, rhythmically bone-crushing, and insanely beautiful."
