The Wewantsounds label, in partnership with Byblos Records founder Mozart Chahine, is releasing the first remastered reissue in nearly fifty years of Assa’d Khoury’s rare 1978 Arabic instrumental album, "Electronic Touches Belly Dance." Curated by Ahmed Khalil, the record blends classical Middle Eastern motifs with pioneering funky electronic keyboards and breakbeats, prominently featured in the cult track "Al Ghaba." This definitive vinyl edition includes the original artwork, a new introduction, an exclusive interview, and lacquer cutting by Frederic Alstadt.
