Argentinian composer Ángeles Rojas has presented an experimental organ piece, "Open the Windows and Let the Spirits in and Out," recorded on the Klais organ at Buenos Aires' National Auditorium. Written specifically for this instrument, the composition features an acoustic ensemble (violin, cello, winds) that subtly complements and enhances a slow-moving, nearly static drone. The work is designed for deep, attentive listening and shares stylistic similarities with the music of Kali Malone and Ellen Arkbro.
