Born in Agrigento, Sicily (Italy), into a musical family, he is a singer and multi-instrumentalist.
He plays the saxophone, drums, and guitar professionally, as well as other instruments such as piano, bass guitar, keyboards, flute, and percussion.
He began playing his first instrument, the classical guitar, at the age of five.
By the age of eight, he was already appearing at various events, as well as on Italian radio and television. He played in various bands in Italy at the age of fourteen.
He discovered his interest in the saxophone at the age of sixteen and studied it intensively with various private teachers.
From the ages of fourteen to eighteen, he studied at the University of Applied Sciences of Music and Art in Italy and successfully completed his degree.
Soon after, he came to Germany for the first time and played in various jazz, pop, and international bands. In the late 1980s, he enrolled for a year at a jazz school in New York.
During his time there, he met many different musicians and played with them once or twice in renowned jazz clubs.
For many years, he owned his own professional recording studio, where he recorded numerous CDs with various artists, thereby gaining extensive experience in sound technology.
In 1991, he recorded his first CD, a jazz album titled "Oasis," on which he played all the instruments himself. This was followed by CDs "The Colors of Music," (1996) "The Funk Machin," (1998) "Sunset," (1999) "The Magic Sax," and "Semper più di prima" (Italo Pop). 2001 Instinct, 2003 The Modern Jazz Saxophone and Inspiration 2004 A Rey Jazz Compilation Volume 1 and 2005 Volume 2 - two albums with renowned international jazz musicians from around the world, 2013 Smooth Jazz and Smooth Inspiration, 2014 The Spirit of Music und Sunflower.
