Alberto Giraldi - The Way Things Turn - Piano solo (2026) [Hi-Res]

The composer overcame a long-standing reverence for the great classical piano tradition to record his first solo piano album at AlfaMusic Studio. The creative process was sparked by inspiration from a course taught by jazz pianist Fred Hersch and the composition of the opening track, "The Path of Life." This led to the creation of the remaining pieces within two weeks, including a tribute to George Gershwin. The project serves as a synthesis of the author's personal voice in composition and improvisation, and the album is dedicated to his mentors, Valerio Piccialuti and Antonio Scarlato.
