Various Artists - Candomblé: Sacred Rhythms in Brazil (2026) [Hi-Res]

The independent platform FLEE is releasing an interdisciplinary project titled Candomblé: Sacred Rhythms in Brazil, which consists of a double-vinyl compilation and a bilingual book. The release is dedicated to documenting and examining the Afro-Brazilian spiritual tradition of Candomblé. The musical component bridges archival recordings from 1985–1988 captured at the Ilê Axé Opô Aganjú temple with contemporary tracks by invited producers. The accompanying publication features historical research, critical essays, and visual documentation, exploring the evolution and future of this culture through a dialogue between the past and the present.
