"Focus" is the fifth full-length studio album by American band The Heavy Eyes, released on June 12, 2026. The release comes six years after their previous album, "Love Like Machines" (2020), and is supported by Magnetic Eye Records and Kozmik Artifactz.
The Memphis, Tennessee-based band traditionally plays at the intersection of psychedelic stoner rock, heavy blues, and grimy garage sounds, but with this album, the musicians decided to push the boundaries of the genre.
After a hiatus, partly due to the pandemic and Tripp Shumake's successful kidney transplant in 2022, the band returned with a new lineup (now a quartet):
Tripp Shumake - vocals, guitar
Matthew Qualls - guitar (also responsible for mixing and mastering the album)
Wally Anderson - bass
Eric Garcia - drums
