The debut album "The Light That Remains" (2026) by the Swedish quartet Fathers & Sons is a family project featuring two generations of musicians: fathers (Hans von Bell, Håkan Nyberg) and their sons (Pontus Snibb, Thomas von Bell). The group originated from informal jam sessions that evolved into a dedicated ensemble performing classic rock with an acoustic sensibility. The album comprises original compositions and covers, highlighting the lyrical depth of lead vocalist Pontus Snibb. With members hailing from prominent rock and blues backgrounds, the band recorded the album live at their own ALPstudio, prioritizing authentic chemistry and the intuitive musical connection inherent in their family bond.
