The album From Ouidah to Another World marks the latest chapter in the twenty-five-year artistic trajectory of the Gangbé Brass Band. The musicians analyze the evolution of brass bands from New Orleans back to the African continent, constructing a sonic dialogue between inherited legacies and contemporary influences.
