Sanaya Ardeshir's debut album, "Hand of Thought," explores matrilineality through the experiences of Parsi women in mid-20th century Bombay. Featuring the piano as a primary instrument, the work examines ancestral heritage, intergenerational connections, and karmic continuity. Inspired by Buddhist philosophy, the title signifies the preservation of creative spirit across generations. This release marks the inauguration of Karigar Records, a label dedicated to synthesizing tradition with contemporary artistic practice.
