This builds on the musical relationship Dave and I began with Lunch Break, but here we lean further into real-time interaction—no set list, just listening and responding.
I’m working across a wide range of percussion—from drumset to hand drums shaped by years of travel—along with handpan and melodica for melodic color. Dave moves easily between lyrical playing and more open territory, and that keeps the music shifting.
Sometimes it feels like chamber jazz, sometimes it stretches out.
It’s about the conversation.
