Mar-Vista - Visions (2026) [Hi-Res]

Formed in 1973 in France by Claude Cuvelier and Jean Skowron, Mar Vista pioneered experimental electronic music by moving away from traditional formats, drawing inspiration from krautrock, minimalism, and Balinese music. In 1976, the duo self-produced the now-cult album "Visions of Sodal Ye," pressing only 150 handmade copies. Their work, characterized by hypnotic atmospheres and innovative recording techniques, remains a significant milestone in the French avant-garde scene. Following Jean Skowron’s passing, Claude Cuvelier continued the project, preserving its unique, unconventional artistic legacy.
