The Round River is the debut full-length studio album by the indie folk duo Meadow Makers, recorded in early 2026 at Howlin' Dog Records in Colorado.
The project is a singer-songwriter duo from the Boston Mountains (northwest Arkansas) – Dana Louise (former frontman of Dana Louise and the Glorious Birds) and Noah Richmond. Dana is the daughter of Ezra Idlet of the renowned American folk-rock duo Trout Fishing in America, so the intergenerational continuity is palpable.
The tracklist includes both brand new compositions (such as the life-affirming "Live Oak Tree") and time-tested acoustic ballads that the duo has performed in intimate concerts. The album's title refers to the metaphor of a "circular river" - the concept of a continuous natural cycle where everything returns to its origins.
