VA - Nailbiters Volume 1 (2026)

SPFDJ's acclaimed Intrepid Skin label returns with the powerhouse compilation Nailbiters Volume 1, out digitally in full on June 19 and featuring 24 producers across 14 countries from the global techno vanguard. The debut single from Yasmin Regisford, "Virada," sets the stage with a rattling, party-starting escalation of polyrhythmic techno energy. It's the first of many high-wire, nailbiting productions on the compilation filled with anticipation and release, from the label of one of contemporary techno's premiere DJ's and curators.

Sequenced with meticulous intent, the 17 tracks here reflect a range of energies and styles, united by SPFDJ's open ears and desire to encourage and platform each producer's distinct musical personalities within a cohesive whole. It's a similar drive behind her own wide-ranging DJ sets, each an opportunity to capture an emotional moment in time and impact without regard for genre conventions or expectations. Yasmin Regisford is a rising force in Paris’s electronic scene, known for her bold selections and high-energy performances. Following the release of her debut EP Chroma in 2025, Yasmin continues to shape her identity as one of the most exciting new voices in contemporary techno by combining precision, groove, and an unrelenting creative vision. This is her first release on Intrepid Skin this year, and luckily not the last.
