The album "Lach Stock" by saxophonist Lachy Hamilton is the artist's sophomore solo work, conceived in Amsterdam in 2024 alongside an international quintet. The compositions were specifically written to highlight the unique polyphonic chemistry of the front-line horn section and the individual traits of the band members. The ensemble's work draws heavily from the traditions of Black American Music, seamlessly blending them with various European influences. Featuring entirely original material alongside an interpretation of Joe Henderson’s "Jinrikisha," the album serves as a definitive snapshot of Amsterdam's vibrant contemporary youth jazz scene.
