"Dance the Bop" (original full title: "Dance the Bop!") is the second studio album by American composer, arranger, and conductor Ray Conniff, recorded in February and released in April 1957 on Columbia Records.

It is the most unusual, controversial, and unique release in Conniff's extensive discography, and has become a true collector's item.

The album occupies a unique place in Conniff's oeuvre. It was created for commercial purposes at the direct insistence of Columbia's head of A&R, Mitch Miller. Observing the explosion of rock 'n' roll, Miller wanted to capitalize on the new teenage dance craze called "bop" (which had nothing to do with jazz bebop, but was a West Coast street dance set to rhythm and blues).
