Manne & Inger Márjá - Duottar ja Vuotna (2026) [Hi-Res]

Norwegian composer and producer Herman Rundberg has announced his debut solo project under the moniker Manne. The upcoming album is a profoundly personal work rooted in the exploration of the artist's indigenous Sami and Northern Norwegian heritage. Synthesizing traditional joik and native hymns with a modern musical landscape, the project features the Arctic Philharmonic alongside prominent indigenous and local artists, including Mari Boine, Emil Kárlsen, and Inger Márjá. The latter co-wrote and features on the leading single "Dárbbašan du," a track dedicated to the love and fear of losing nature. Renowned for his award-winning film scores and past tenures with bands like Violet Road and Alit Boazu, Rundberg seamlessly weaves his cultural identity into this cinematic contemporary release.
