Good Man is the new EP from Nigerian-born, Edinburgh-based soul singer James Emmanuel. Following his acclaimed 2025 debut EP A Time to Heal and a Spotlight Award win at the Scottish Music Awards, this new project finds Emmanuel drawing deeply from personal experience. The title track is a special celebration of his late father and men like him, aiming to offer a positive role model for young men who are often exposed to negative influences. The EP is preceded by the lead single "Bridge Over the Tears I've Cried," a driving, piano-driven anthem of defiance against fair-weather friends.
