An American Crime is the second EP from rising singer-songwriter Sabrina Sterling. Following her emotionally raw debut Ramona a seven-song portrait of growing up and telling the truth Sterling describes this project as one of "growth and reflection," where she has become "braver in my writing" with every new song. Known for her confessional lyricism and delicate vocals, the 20-year-old artist draws inspiration from diaristic storytellers like Phoebe Bridgers and Lizzy McAlpine, delivering intimate pop that resonates far beyond her years. The EP follows her bold title track "An American Crime," which was accompanied by an 8-minute short film shot in NYC that served as an allegory for the backlash she faced after her debut, and comes on the heels of her deeply personal single "Eventually".
