"Street Time" (1978) is a rare and highly significant album by the Italian instrumental group Delta Blues Band. The album was recorded in just two days (October 16–17, 1978) at Milan's Barigozzi Studio and released by the iconic Italian jazz label Red Records, founded by Sergio Veschi.
Despite the group's "American" name, this project brought together prominent figures of the Lombard jazz and blues scene of the late 1970s.
This release is a superb example of a European take on the American roots tradition of the late 1970s. The album is a highly collectible for fans of the Red Records archive catalog and elegant instrumental jazz-blues.
