Jack McKeon - Every Once in a While (2026) [Hi-Res]

Every Once in a While is the second full-length album from Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jack McKeon, set for release on July 3, 2026 on LaChance Records. The record continues the trajectory set by his 2024 debut Talking to Strangers, which established McKeon as a literary-minded country-folk writer in the tradition of Guy Clark, Tom T. Hall, and John Hartford. The eight-track album was recorded in Nashville with a seasoned session lineup — Seth Taylor (acoustic/electric guitar), Casey Campbell (mandolin), Phillipe Bronctein (steel guitar), Vickie Vaughn (bass), Josh Hunt (drums), and Deanie Richardson (fiddle), with backing vocals from Melissa Erin — self-produced by McKeon.
Compared to the largely acoustic, bluegrass-leaning sound of his debut, the new album introduces drums and electric guitar, suggesting a broader, more electrified roots sound. Both the label and digital retailers (Qobuz) classify the release under the Folk genre.
