Foo Fighters - Your Favorite Toy (2026)

Foo Fighters' latest, twelfth studio album, Your Favorite Toy, was released on April 24, 2026, and opens an exciting new chapter in the band's history. This album is the first full-length studio work to feature the virtuoso drumming of Ilan Rubin (Nine Inch Nails, Angels & Airwaves), who took over after the tragic death of Taylor Hawkins. The album breaks away from the more polished sound of the Greg Kurstin era: the material was recorded in Dave Grohl's home studio and at the legendary Studio 606, with engineer Oliver Roman. According to Grohl, the title track set the direction: after a long period of experimentation, the band returned to high-energy, fast-paced rock that combines the fury and power of their early albums with the melodic alternative rock that is characteristic of the Foo Fighters.
