"The Epiphany of Glenn Jones" (1997) is one of the most paradoxical, complex, and yet hypnotic collaborations in the history of the American independent scene of the late 20th century. It is a union between the patriarch of avant-garde folk and "American primitivism" John Fahey and the Boston post-rock/indie rock band Cul de Sac, led by guitarist Glenn Jones, who had been a devoted fan of Fahey since his youth.

The album was released on September 23, 1997, by Thirsty Ear Records and has become a cult monument to creative confrontation.

"The Epiphany of Glenn Jones" is music born of chance, stubbornness, and mutual friction. Austere, ascetic, yet incredibly emotional, it introduced the late John Fahey to the '90s indie rock generation.
