Zensō - Temple of the Moon (2026) [Hi-Res]

Temple of the Moon is a return to my roots as a jazz fusion drummer/percussionist. Improvisation is at the heart of the album, shaped by free meter, loose structures, and spontaneous expression. Ambient aspects remain, but they reside in the background, allowing the human elements to come through more vividly than in my prior work. At a time when AI-generated music is encroaching on the electronic music landscape, this handmade album is my way of holding close the values of individual expression and craftsmanship. It is an invitation to listen for the human touch, and a reminder that creativity is still primarily a human endeavor.

All drum set and percussion parts were performed on a Zendrum percussion instrument. Melodic solos were performed on an Ableton Push grid instrument. No AI was used in the creation of this music.
