Lollipop is a rare and highly sought-after album of Italian library music, released in 1970 on the prestigious independent label SR Records (as part of the "Solfeggio" series).

This release is a collaboration between three outstanding masters of Italian applied music: composers Franco Altissimi and Elvio Monti, and the legendary guitarist and experimental composer Mario Molino.

The record was not created for commercial sale, but exclusively for licensing on Italian television (RAI) and radio as a soundtrack for broadcasts, reports, and films.

The album's sound, fully justifying its sweet title, "Lollipop," is imbued with the bright, sunny, carefree, and cinematic atmosphere of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Here, graceful orchestrations, conducted by Elvio Monti, intertwine with hypnotic bossa nova rhythms, Hammond organ, tender female scat vocals, and Mario Molino's signature, slightly psychedelic guitar strokes. The music ranges from pastoral vignettes to dynamic Euro grooves.
