Nick Gilder – Stairways (1997)

Stairways is the seventh studio album by renowned Canadian glam/pop rock artist Nick Gilder, released in 1997 on Gilder Records and Spinner Music Group. Recorded with his backing project The Drive, this release marked the musician's return to full-time studio work after a long hiatus from the mid-1980s.

Unlike his major glam hits of the late 1970s (such as "Hot Child in the City" and "Roxy Roller"), Stairways showcases a more mature, softer, and more melodic sound. It's high-quality Canadian rock in an adult format, with beautiful vocal harmonies and an emphasis on guitar and keyboard arrangements.
