"Napoli in musica" is a studio album by Italian pianist, composer, and conductor Francesco Anselmo and his orchestra (with choir), released on October 27, 1972, on the renowned audiophile label Vedette (as part of the Phase 6 Super Stereo series, renowned for its deep, panoramic surround sound).

Francesco Anselmo (also known by his stage name Lee Selmoco) is a cult figure in the Italian pop scene. He served for many years as the official pianist for the legendary vocal quartet Quartetto Cetra and also created lush orchestral arrangements for early albums by the rock bands Pooh and Equipe 84.

The album "Napoli in musica" ("Naples in Music") is an exquisite instrumental and vocal tribute to the great Neapolitan song tradition. Anselmo took classic, world-famous melodies from Southern Italy and reimagined them with rich, symphonic, and lounge arrangements from the early 1970s. The album's sound is woven from delicate piano passages, delicate masala parts, a soft brass section, and soaring choir backing vocals. Thanks to Phase 6 Super Stereo technology, the recording is distinguished by crystal clarity and spatial separation of instruments.
