Bento Gil - Silêncio Azul (2026) [Hi-Res]

Bento Gil is a young musician from a renowned Brazilian musical family. His musical journey began in childhood: from age six, he played guitar, and from age eleven, he participated in collaborative projects with his father, reinterpreting classic works by Jorge Ben Jor. Raised surrounded by musicians, he accompanied his grandfather Gilberto Gil during tours and took part in independent work of his parents.
Bento's debut album titled "Silence in Blue" was released in 2026 and contains ten original compositions and an interpretation of a song by Dorival Caymmi. The musicians who exerted the greatest influence on his creativity are Jorge Mautner, João Donato, Jorge Ben Jor, and his own grandfather. Bento positions his approach as a return to traditional music-making craftsmanship with minimalist, coastal, and romantic themes.
