Manic Vice - Sólo en Nuestra Cabeza (2026) [Hi-Res]

Four young musicians who came together in 2021 as Manic Vice release their debut album «Sólo en Nuestra Cabeza» — an almost hour-long record steeped in the spirit of late-60s and 70s psychedelic and progressive rock, with clear echoes of the Canterbury scene. Though firmly rooted in the sound of an earlier era, the band doesn't merely recreate it; instead, they reinterpret it instinctively and freshly, forging their own voice within a familiar tradition.

The album's eleven tracks are built on contrast: long, gradually unfolding pieces sit alongside more compact, immediate songs, while luminous psychedelia meets ambitious progressive passages and melody-driven songwriting. All the material was refined and rebuilt specifically for this recording.

The album was made with producer Pablo Solo, who helped strike a balance between vintage atmosphere and present-day sound clarity — the result is organic, dynamic and unhurried, giving every section room to breathe.

The record marks the culmination of four years for the band: shared growth, change, live performances and a common musical vision. For anyone drawn to progressive rock, 60s psychedelia or the Canterbury sound, this album demands attention.
