Bintangs – Heroes, Beggars and Kings (2026)

The album is in Bintangs' signature, recognizable style—dirty, powerful, and raw Dutch blues rock (also known as Nederblues). The sound is anchored by Frank Kraaijveld's raspy vocals, dense tandem guitar work, pumping rhythms, and an uncompromising barroom groove reminiscent of iconic recordings by The Rolling Stones and Dr. Feelgood.

"Heroes, Beggars, and Kings" contains 12 original and cover songs written by the band members. Speaking about the album, frontman Frank Kraaijveld noted that this release symbolically "closes the circle" for the band, which has been active since 1961.

A special place on the record is occupied by a cover of the Mick Jagger and Keith Richards classic "Off the Hook," to which Bintangs infused their signature heavy R&B style. The album combines hard-hitting rock numbers with atmospheric, more contemplative blues tracks.
