"Feeling Mortal" is the 28th studio album by American country, folk, and outlaw classic Kris Kristofferson, and one of his most intimate. Recorded in late 2012, the album was officially released on January 29, 2013 (and was also distributed throughout 2012 and 2013) on his own independent label, KK Records.
The release marks the third installment in Kristofferson and Don Voz's acoustic trilogy (along with 2006's "This Old Road" and 2009's "Closer to the Bone").
