The album "Glider" (1978) is the debut album by the American jazz fusion group Auracle.
Auracle was formed by students at the Eastman School of Music, which defined their high level of performance and complex arrangements.
The album combines the light, airy atmosphere of late '70s fusion with virtuosic instrumental solos. It features abundant Rhodes electric piano, dense brass duets (trumpet/flute), and a groove-driven rhythm section.
The music ranges from energetic funk (Columbian Bubblegum) to soft, contemplative crossover (Glider, Sleezy Listening).
