Galliano - Acid Jazz Revenge (2026) Hi Res

Here is the new exclusive album strictly for P-Vine Japan from Galliano, ‘Acid Jazz Revenge’. Galliano reformed two years ago and have been playing concerts, festivals and putting out new music via their label WoozyWu Records. 'Acid Jazz Revenge’ incorporates tracks from the album ‘Unreliable Memories Of Contested Conversations’ released on WoozyWu in 2026 plus three brand new tracks.

The album contained stories of the late 80s London culture that Galliano grew out of, plus tales of where we find ourselves in 2026. The new tracks have added to the initial album’s scope. The first is ‘Children of the sun’, a Roy Ayers influenced song, recorded as the others were in Boogie Back Studios North London. Using a lyric from Winter in America by Gill Scott Heron as its first line, it ask’s “what happened to the peace signs/that vanished in our dreams”… Next is ‘Boogie for Brains’, a dirty funk workout with echoes of James Brown and Maceo Parker on the horn and flute arrangement from long time ‘Conical hat, Spiritual jazz collaborator’ Finn Peters.

Its subject matter deals with how the digital experiment is changing the mind - was this the future we were promised. 'Prince of Peace (Dingwalls version)’ is a live arrangement of the song that the band played in the legendary Gilles Peterson & Patrick Forge club in April 2026. This is the first time this version has been recorded and released.
