Shake Some Action (50th Anniversary Edition) is a commemorative reissue of the legendary album by the American rock band Flamin' Groovies, released in 2026 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the original 1976 release. The reissue was released by Rhino Records (in collaboration with Sire Records).
The original 1976 album, produced by Dave Edmunds at Rockfield Studios in Wales, is considered one of the defining records in the history of power pop and garage rock. The title track, "Shake Some Action," became an anthem of the genre.
The 2026 50th Anniversary Edition features a completely new mix and remaster from the original analogue tapes, plus extensive bonus material including previously unreleased alt-takes, demos from the 1972–1975 Rockfield Studios sessions, and unmuted radio concerts from the period.
