Eddie Clendening & The Modern Sounds - Knockin' At Your Heart (2010)

"Is... Knockin' At Your Heart" is a full-length album by American rockabilly artist Eddie Clendening, recorded with the Chicago-based band The Modern Sounds (which features such masters of swang and American roots music as Joel Paterson, Alex Hall, and Bo Caldwell). The album was released on February 2, 2010, via Ventrella Records.

The album is entirely in the authentic spirit of the "golden era" of American rock 'n' roll and rockabilly of the 1950s. It combines elements of classic hillbilly, rhythm and blues, and early rock in the spirit of classic Sun Records recordings.

The recording features vintage, lively production with the characteristic twang of semi-acoustic guitars, walking double bass, retro piano, and soft slapback echo.
