Cityrama is an archival collection of original applied (library) music by the renowned French composer, conductor, and pioneer of light music Roger Roger (1911–1995). The disc was officially released in 2005 by Galerie (Universal Production Music) as a retrospective collection of works the composer recorded in the mid-20th century for film, radio, and television.
The music evokes the atmosphere of vintage Paris and the European metropolises of the 1950s and 1960s. The album's musical themes are dynamic, cinematic, and full of optimism: vibrant brass sections, a light swing rhythm, elegant string arrangements, and a distinctive French charm. Several tracks on the record also feature collaborations with the composer's collaborator and colleague, Nino Nardini.
