Kokoroko - Tempos Difíceis Sempre Passam (2026) [Hi-Res]

The London-based band Kokoroko has announced the release of a new remix EP titled Tempos Difíceis Sempre Passam. This four-track collection reimagines songs from their acclaimed album Tuff Times Never Last through collaborations with various contemporary Brazilian artists. The project highlights a creative dialogue between the group's musical world and Brazil's vibrant, genre-defying soundscapes. The EP will be available on all digital platforms and in a limited vinyl edition featuring artwork by Luci Pina. Luedji Luna leads the announcement with her emotive remix of Never Lost, which emphasizes the original themes of hope and resilience. Additional contributions come from artists including Nyron Higor, Aleh Ferreira, and Bruno Berle, who provide fresh interpretations of the tracks Da Du Dah and Closer To Me. These remixes extend the optimistic spirit of the original record while celebrating the artistic connection between London and Brazil.
