Astral Magic - Light of the World (2026) [Hi-Res]

British musician Paul Roland and Finnish multi-instrumentalist Santtu have delivered their second collaborative 12-track album. The recording features guest appearances by Jonathan Segel, who added guitar, violin, and mandolin layers, and Anton Sailo, who performed on the traditional Finnish kannel. The album's sonic palette ranges from relaxed psychedelic folk and space rock enriched with dreamy synth layers, acoustic guitars, and wah-wah effects to short, mysterious interludes and surrealist art rock aesthetics reminiscent of early Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett. The release includes brand-new compositions alongside revisited, shortened versions of previously released singles Mind Melt Machine and The Illustrated Man.
