Cary Brown - Organic Music Synthesis (2026) [Hi-Res]

The NYC-based jam band Cary Brown and O.M.S. (Organic Music Synthesis) brings together veterans of the local scene in a project blending funk, jazz, and rock. The group's founder, composer, and producer is multi-keyboardist Cary Brown, known for his work with ska pioneers The Skatalites, The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble, as well as collaborations with John Scofield and Levon Helm. The rhythm section features drummer Joe Abba, with live performances enhanced by guitarist Paul Orbell, who infuses the sound with elements of country and blues. The band's debut album Organic Music Synthesis, entirely recorded and produced by Brown, is slated for release featuring guest appearances by renowned musicians, including Adam Rogers and Chuck Leavell.
