Crack The Sky - Crackology (2018)

"Crackology" (2018) is a commemorative re-recording compilation by the American progressive rock/art rock band Crack The Sky, released in honor of the band's 40th anniversary.

Instead of releasing a typical "Greatest Hits" compilation of old archive tracks, frontman John Palumbo and the musicians of Crack The Sky reunited in the studio and completely re-recorded 12 of their most iconic and fan-favorite compositions.

The album showcases the band's classic tracks from the 1970s and '80s in a modern, more powerful and dense studio production. The music combines Palumbo's signature satirical cynicism with complex prog structures, sharp guitar riffs, and catchy melodies.
